Study progress of anxiety and depression in breast cancer patients under postoperative adjuvant chemother?apy

Abstract:The incidence of anxiety and depression in breast cancer patients under postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy is high, and they have adverse effects on the quality of life, therapeutic compliance, and etc. In recent years, with the improvement of people??s attention to quality of life, the application of bio-psycho-social medical model and the further development of palliative treatment research, medical workers and relevant researchers not only pay attention to survival time and disease recurrence, but also to psychologi-cal and spiritual pain. Meanwhile, studies at home and abroad have shown that a variety of psychological intervention methods can allevi-ate anxiety and depression to a certain extent. This article reviews the epidemiology, adverse effects, related factors and intervention measures of anxiety and depression in these breast cancer patients. The purpose of this study is to provide information for alleviating the negative emotion and screening for psychological intervention, and to lay the foundation for further development of the related research.
