Abstract:Osteosarcoma (OS) is one of the most common primary malignant bone tumors in clinical adolescents. Currently, the treatment of OS is mainly limb salvage surgery combined with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, which improves the 5?year survival rate of patients with OS. Local recurrence and metastasis are the main reasons for treatment failure. The formation of tumor angiogenesis is largely involved in the progression of tumor invasion and distal metastasis. With the research on the relevant mechanism of angiogenesis in OS, more and more anti?angiogenic drugs have been developed and obtained corresponding clinical evidence. This review provides an overview of the current mechanisms and treatment strategies for OS angiogenesis in order to lay a foundation for the clinical application of anti?vascular therapy for OS.
