Abstract:Autophagy is a process that regulates the degradation of cytoplasmic macromolecular substances and organelles, and its role is crucial in maintaining cell homeostasis, cell differentiation, and response to environmental stress. With the deepening of research, we found Beclin1, which was an important autophagy-related gene, played a bidirectional role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. We review the research progress on the effect of autophagy-related gene Beclin1 on breast cancer.
