Abstract:18 F?Fluorodeoxyglucose ( 18 F?FDG) positron emission tomography/computerized tomography ( PET/CT) has been widely used for the diagnosis and treatment in patients with non?small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).In particular, the technique plays an important role in predicting therapeutic effect of NSCLC patients. It can dynamically observe the tumor tissue metabolism, and allows the prediction of the early efficacy of NSCLC in clinical or sub?clinical levels before and after treatment according to the changes 18 F?FDG uptake. This review aims to summarize these articles about PET/CT in predicting therapeutic effect of NSCLC.
