Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of preeclampsia on pregnancy outcomes, neonatal outcomes, and the expression level of SEMA3F.Methods A total of 200 term singleton pregnant women admitted from January 2022 to January 2024 were selected as the study subjects.Among them,100 patients underwent elective cesarean section(C-section)and 100 patients had natural delivery.Additionally, the patients were further divided into two groups based on whether they developed preeclampsia:the elective C-section+preeclampsia group(Study Group Ⅰ),the elective C-section+non-preeclampsia group(Study Group Ⅱ),the routine delivery+preeclampsia group(Study Group Ⅲ),and the routine delivery+non-preeclampsia group(Study Group Ⅳ).The pregnancy and neonatal outcomes of each group were statistically analyzed, and the levels of SEMA3F in different samples of pregnant women were compared. Results The ages of the pregnant women in Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅲ were greater than those in Group Ⅱ and Group Ⅳ,and the duration of hypertension was significantly longer than those in Group Ⅱ and Group Ⅳ(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes was higher in Group Ⅰ[68.42%(13/19)]than in Group Ⅱ[23.60%(21/81)],and higher in Group Ⅲ[72.73%(8/11)]than in Group Ⅳ[22.95%(14/89)],with significant differences(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes between Group Ⅱ and Group Ⅳ(P>0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women was higher in Group Ⅰ[63.16%(12/19)]than in Group Ⅱ[9.88%(8/81)],and higher in Group Ⅲ[41.03%(16/39)]than in Group Ⅳ[9.84%(6/61)],with significant differences(P<0.05).The expression levels of SEMA3F in peripheral blood(16 weeks),umbilical vein blood(16 weeks),and amniotic fluid(16 weeks)samples of pregnant women in Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅲ were higher than those in Group Ⅱ and GroupⅣ(P<0.05).Conclusion Preeclampsia has adverse effects on pregnancy and neonatal outcomes. Moreover, the expression level of SEMA3F is elevated in pregnant women with preeclampsia. In clinical practice,SEMA3F should be measured in high-risk pregnant women,so as to promptly take corresponding preventive and therapeutic measures for preeclampsia.
