Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of Shenge Dingchuan formula combined with Fasudil in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)-pulmonary hypertension(PH)presenting as lung-kidney deficiency pattern and its impact on pulmonary function. Methods A total of 300 patients with COPD-PH admitted from May 2020 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group(n=150)and the control group(n=150)according to the random number table method. The control group was given Fasudil combined with conventional treatment, and the observation group was given Shenge Dingchuan formula on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect,as well as the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores, disease indicators[COPD assessment test(CAT),mean pulmonary artery pressure(mPAP)],pulmonary function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV1),maximum voluntary ventilation(MVV)]before and after treatment, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 3 months after treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group[95.33%(143/150)]was higher than that of the control group[83.33%(125/150)](P<0.05).At 14 d and 3 months after treatment, cough, expectoration, shortness of breath, wheezing score,CAT score, and mPAP showed a downward trend, while FEV1,FVC and MVV showed an upward trend in the two groups(P<0.05).At 3 months after treatment, cough, expectoration, shortness of breath, wheezing score,CAT score, and mPAP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while FEV1,FVC and MVV were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Shenge Dingchuan formula combined with Fasudil has a good effect and good safety in the treatment of COPD-PH.
