Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect and adverse reactions of Tirofiban combined with Butylphthalide on vascular recanalization in stent thrombectomy for cardioembolic stroke. Methods A total of 98 patients with cardioembolic stroke admitted from January 2020 to December 2024 were selected and divided into the combination group(n=49)and the control group(n=49),by the random number table method. The control group was treated with stent thrombectomy combined with Butylphthalide, while the combination group was treated with Tirofiban on this basis. The vascular recanalization conditions, the recovery status of neurological function and activities of daily living(ADLs),platelet activation markers and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results At 14 d after treatment, the vascular recanalization rate in the combination group[93.88%(46/49)]was higher than that in the control group[79.59%(39/49)](P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale and the modified Rankin Scale in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and lower in the combination group than in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).After treatment, the levels of CD63 and CD62P in whole blood and the level of serum P-selectin in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and lower in the combination group than in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Tirofiban combined with Butylphthalide increases vascular recanalization rate, improves neurological function, enhances ADLs,and inhibits platelet-activated agglutination in patients undergoing stent thrombectomy for cardioembolic stroke, with a favorable safety profile.
