Abstract:Renal fibrosis is the core pathological feature of the progression from acute kidney injury(AKI)to chronic kidney disease(CKD),with a complex mechanism and extremely poor prognosis. The activation of nuclear factor-κB signaling pathway is closely related to the transition from AKI to CKD.It is not only an important regulator of inflammatory reaction, but also affects the renal fibrosis process through interaction with various signaling pathways and epigenetic regulation;however, its specific mechanism is still unclear. Therefore, this article summarizes the mechanism of nuclear factor-κB signaling pathway in renal fibrosis in the progression from AKI to CKD,and the research progress of various intervention strategies,in order to provide theoretical basis and new direction for targeting nuclear factor-κB pathway to prevent and treat renal fibrosis.
