The Synergistic Enhancing Effect of Comprehensive Nursing on Drug Treatment for Childhood Pneumonia
Abstract:Pneumonia, as a leading cause of child mortality worldwide, has always been a focus and challenge in pediatric medicine. The pathogenesis of childhood pneumonia is complex, involving multiple factors such as pathogen infection, weakened immune function, and poor nutritional status, with diverse clinical manifestations. Traditional treatment models mainly rely on drug interventions such as antibiotics, which have achieved significant results in controlling infections, but still have limitations in improving overall prognosis, shortening hospital stay, and reducing recurrence rates. In recent years, comprehensive nursing interventions, by integrating drug treatment, psychological support, nutritional management, and health education, have provided new ideas for the treatment of childhood pneumonia. This intervention model not only focuses on the treatment of the disease itself, but also pays attention to the overall needs of the child and the family. It is in this context that the academic monograph 'Diagnosis and Nursing of Pediatric Respiratory Diseases' edited by Huang Qiufang was published by Jilin Science and Technology Press in 2019. This book takes the basic diseases of the pediatric respiratory system as its core, systematically elucidates the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the system, and deeply analyzes the pathophysiological mechanisms, signs, diagnostic basis, and treatment plans of related diseases. It also comprehensively discusses the theoretical framework and clinical practice value of nursing related to respiratory system diseases.
