Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of ultrasound-guided modified renal cyst puncture sclerotherapy using disposable arteriovenous indwelling needles in the treatment of renal cysts. Methods A total of 98 patients with renal cysts admitted from January 2019 to September 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group(n=48)and the control group(n=50)according to the treatment plan. The observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided modified renal cyst puncture sclerotherapy using disposable arteriovenous indwelling needles for renal cysts, while the control group was treated with ultrasound-guided conventional renal cyst puncture sclerotherapy. The clinical effect, perioperative indexes, postoperative complications and postoperative recurrence rate were compared between the two groups,as well as cyst volume and visual analogue scale(VAS)score of lumbar and abdominal pain before and after operation. Results The cure rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the postoperative recurrence rate was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The duration of operation and postoperative discharge time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the times of absolute ethanol lavage and the incidence of pain during treatment were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01).The cyst volume and VAS scores of lumbar and abdominal pain in the two groups immediately after operation, and at 1 month and 3 months after operation were smaller than those before operation(P<0.05).The cyst volume and VAS score of lumbar and abdominal pain in the observation group were smaller than those in the control group immediately after operation, and at 1 month and 3 months after operation(P<0.05).The incidence of intraoperative bleeding in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Ultrasound-guided modified renal cyst puncture sclerotherapy using disposable arteriovenous indwelling needles for renal cysts has good safety and reliability, which can relieve postoperative lumbar and abdominal pain, reduce intraoperative bleeding, improve cure rate and reduce postoperative recurrence rate.
