Abstract:Objective To analyze the multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment(MDT)process in a case of fibrous mediastinitis(FM).Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the MDT process of one case of FM admitted in January 2023.The patient's condition and treatment were analyzed and discussed. Results The patient had recurrent hemoptysis for over 6 years. After MDT,FM was considered. The mediastinal soft tissue caused pulmonary artery stenosis and pulmonary hypertension. After pulmonary artery stent implantation, the patient's pulmonary hypertension improved, and the hemoptysis symptom disappeared at 1 week after the operation. The patient was followed up postoperatively until July 2024 and no hemoptysis reoccurred. Conclusion MDT is conductive to clarifying the etiology of FM patients, and the therapeutic effect is definite after interventional treatment.
