Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP)antibody, carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199),rheumatoid factor(RF)and the disease activity and severity of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods A total of 106 RA patients admitted from June 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the research group, and were divided into mild-remission subgroup(n=21),moderate subgroup(n=45)and severe subgroup(n=40)according to the severity of the disease.Another 60 healthy people undergoing physical examination were selected as the control group. The serum levels of anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF between the two groups were detected, and the differences in serum factor levels among the groups were analyzed.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between each factor and RA disease activity, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the independent predictors of disease severity. Results The levels of serum anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF in the research group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).The levels of serum anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF in the severe subgroup were the highest, followed by the moderate subgroup and the mild-remission subgroup(P<0.05).Serum anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF levels were positively correlated with Disease Activity Score 28 in RA patients(r=0.522,0.549 and 0.596,all P<0.001).The serum levels of anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF were all influencing factors for the severity of RA patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Anti-CCP antibody,CA199 and RF are highly expressed in the serum of RA patients, and their expression levels are positively correlated with disease activity, which are all influencing factors of disease severity.
