Abstract:Objective To explore the predictive value of D-dimer(D-D)/troponin Ⅰ(cTnI)ratio for major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods A total of 102 patients with T2DM diagnosed and treated from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were followed up for one year after discharge and divided into the MACE group(n=25)and the non-MACE group(n=77)according to occurrence of MACE.The clinical data and the levels of D-D,cTnI,and D-D/cTnI ratio at admission of the two groups were compared. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of D-D,cTnI and D-D/cTnI ratio for MACE in patients with T2DM.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors of MACE in patients with T2DM.Results The heart rate, duration of diabetes,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),serum creatinine(Scr),proportion of Killip grade≥Ⅲ,D-D,cTnI and D-D/cTnI ratio in the MACE group were all higher than those in the non-MACE group, and the systolic and diastolic blood pressure were lower than those in the non-MACE group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that elevated LDL-C,elevated Scr,Killip grade≥Ⅲ,and elevated D-D/cTnI ratio were risk factors for MACE in patients with T2DM(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the areas under the curves of D-D,cTnI and D-D/cTnI ratio for predicting MACE in patients with T2DM were 0.762,0.849 and 0.928,respectively.Conclusion The increase in D-D/cTnI ratio is closely related to the occurrence of MACE in patients with T2DM after discharge and is expected to serve as an independent predictor of MACE in patients with T2DM.
