Observation on the Effect of Yishen Huoluo Formula Combined with External Application of Reyanbao in the Treatment of Chronic Renal Failure with Spleen-Kidney Qi(Yang)Deficiency Syndrome

Abstract：Objective To study the clinical effect of Yishen Huoluo formula combined with external application of Reyanbao[hot compress with packs of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)]in the treatment of chronic renal failure(CRF)patients with spleen-kidney qi(Yang)deficiency syndrome.Methods A total of 160 patients with CRF of spleen-kidney qi(Yang)deficiency syndrome admitted from January 2020 to January 2024 were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different treatment methods.The control group was given conventional treatment,and the observation group was treated with Yishen Huoluo formula combined with external application of Reyanbao on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,endogenous creatinine clearance rate(Ccr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),uric acid(UA),serum creatinine(Scr),CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,TCM symptom score,systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)levels before and at 1 d after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.00%(76/80),which was higher than 85.00%(68/80)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,Ccr was higher than that before treatment,but Scr,BUN and UA were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).Ccr in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,but Scr,BUN and UA were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).After treatment,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were higher than those before treatment,but CD8+was lower than that before treatment(P<0.01).CD4+and CD4+/CD8+in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,but CD8+was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the TCM symptom scores of lassitude and weakness,heavy sensation of limbs,soreness and weakness of waist and knees,aversion to cold and cold limbs,abdominal distension,and shortness of breath with disinclination to speak were lower than those before treatment,which were lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.01).After treatment,the SBP and DBP of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion Yishen Huoluo formula combined with external application of Reyanbao has a positive effect on renal function,immune function,clinical symptoms and improvement in blood pressure of CRF patients with spleen-kidney qi(Yang)deficiency,and has a good clinical effect.
