Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction combined with Paroxetine in the treatment of perimenopausal coronary heart disease(CHD)in patients with anxiety and depression of kidney deficiency and liver depression syndrome. Methods Fifty perimenopausal CHD patients with anxiety and depression admitted from June 2023 to March 2024 were selected and divided into Western medicine group(n=25)and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)group(n=25)according to random number table method. The Western medication group was treated with Paroxetine tablets on the basis of conventional secondary prevention of CHD,and the TCM group was treated with Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction on the basis of the Western medication group. All patients were treated for 8 consecutive weeks. The changes of cardiac function indexes, psychological depression, lipid metabolism indexes, endocrine hormones,hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis-related indexes and adverse reactions were observed and compared between the two groups. Results At 8 weeks after treatment, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),self-rating depression scale(SDS)score,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)score and serum low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),total cholesterol(TC),triacylglycerol(TG)in the two groups were lower than those before treatment.Stroke volume(SV),cardiac output(CO),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were higher than those before treatment, and the LVEDD,LVESD,SDS score,SAS score and serum LDL-C,TC,TG in the TCM group were lower than those in the Western medicine group, while SV,CO and LVEF were higher than those in the Western medication group(P<0.05).At 8 weeks after treatment, the levels of serum estradiol(E2)in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, while the levels of serum follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),corticotropin releasing hormone(CRH)and cortisol(CORT)were lower than those before treatment;the serum levels of FSH,LH,ACTH,CRH and CORT in the TCM group were lower than those in the Western medicine group, while the serum level of E2 was higher than that in the Western medicine group(P<0.05).No adverse reactions were observed in the two groups during treatment. Conclusion Chaihu Longgu Muli decoction combined with Paroxetine in the treatment of perimenopausal CHD patients with anxiety and depression has significant clinical effects, which can effectively regulate endocrine hormones, improve cardiac function, reduce blood lipid levels, relieve anxiety and depression symptoms, and has good safety.
