Abstract:Objective To explore the predictive value of combined detection of tissue Spondin-2,mucin-1(MUC-1),and cathepsin-D(Cath-D)for postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer. Methods A total of 235 patients undergoing cervical cancer surgery who visited the hospital from April 2019 to April 2021 were selected and divided into the recurrence group and the non-recurrence group according to the recurrence at 3 years after the operation. The demographic characteristics, clinicopathological characteristics and the expressions of Spondin-2,MUC-1 and Cath-D mRNA in tissues of the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared.Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between clinicopathological characteristics and the expressions of Spondin-2,MUC-1 and Cath-D mRNA in tissues.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer, and the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the value of tissue Spondin-2,MUC-1,and Cath-D mRNA in predicting postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer. Results There were significant differences in tumor diameter,FIGO stage, degree of differentiation, human papillomavirus infection, and pelvic lymph node metastasis between the two groups(P<0.01).The mRNA expressions of Spondin-2,MUC-1 and Cath-D in the recurrence group were all higher than those in the non-recurrence group(P<0.01).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the mRNA expressions of Spondin-2,MUC-1 and Cath-D in tissues of patients undergoing cervical cancer surgery were positively correlated with tumor diameter,FIGO stage, degree of differentiation,HPV infection and pelvic lymph node metastasis(P<0.01).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that Spondin-2,MUC-1,CAST-D and human papillomavirus infection were the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer(P<0.01).The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve for the combined prediction of postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer by tissue Spondin-2,MUC-1,and Cath-D mRNA was higher than that predicted by a single indicator. Conclusion The combined detection of Spondin-2,MUC-1 and Cath-D in tissues has a high predictive value for postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer, which is conducive to the early clinical prediction of postoperative recurrence of cervical cancer and the formulation of corresponding intervention plans.
