Effects of Yiqi Tongmai Yangxin Decoction Combined with Conventional Western Medicine on Coronary Blood Flow and Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Patients with Coronary Microvascular Disease

Abstract：Objective To explore the effects of Yiqi Tongmai Yangxin decoction combined with conventional West-ern medicine on coronary blood flow and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with coronary microvascular disease(CMVD).Methods A total of 124 patients with CMVD admitted from May 2022 to June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups according to computer-generated randomization,with 62 patients in each group.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and the observation group was treated with Yiqi Tongmai Yangxin decoction com-bined with conventional Western medicine.Both groups were treated for 6 months.The clinical efficacy,adverse reactions and incidence of MACE were compared between the two groups.The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score,cardiac function parameters[cardiac output(CO),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),stroke volume(SV)],coronary blood flow[coronary maximum diastolic velocity,coronary flow reserve(CFR)]were compared before treatment and at 6 months after treatment.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 90.32%(56/62),which was significantly higher than 72.58%(45/62)of the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the TCM syndrome scores were decreased,while CO,SV,LVEF and CFR were increased in the observation group at 6 months after treatment(P<0.05).There was no sig-nificant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).At 6 months after follow-up,the inci-dence of MACE in the observation group was 5.00%(3/60),which was lower than 16.39%(10/61)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Yiqi Tongmai Yangxin decoction combined with conventional Western medicine is effective in the treatment of CMVD patients,which can improve coronary blood flow,improve cardiac function,alleviate patients'symptoms,reduce the in-cidence of MACEs,and does not increase the risk of adverse reactions.
