Abstract：This article aims to explore the application and value of forensic psychiatric identification in medical social work.Through in-depth analysis of relevant research on medical social work,the interaction between mental illness and medi-cal social work,and the intrinsic connection between mental illness identification and medical social work,this article reveals the important role of forensic psychiatric identification in promoting the professionalization and standardization of medical social work,providing theoretical support and practical guidance for medical social workers in practical operations.
