Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of serum cytokeratin-19 fragment(CYFRA21-1),neuron-specific enolase(NSE)and squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC)in predicting the recurrence of patients with lung cancer after radical surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent radical surgery for lung cancer from January 2020 to July 2021 were selected and divided into a recurrence group(n=21)and a non-recurrence group(n=79)according to recurrence within 2 years of follow-up.Serum CYFRA21-1,NSE and SCC levels were detected between the two groups, and the clinical characteristics between the two groups was compared. The value of serum CYFRA21-1,NSE and SCC in predicting the recur-rence of lung cancer after radical surgery was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of recurrence of lung cancer after radical surgery. Results ROC curve showed that the combined detection of serum CYFRA21-1,NSE and SCC in predicting the recurrence of lung cancer after radical sur-gery was greater than that predicted by single index(P<0.01).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that,The TNM stage Ⅲ,low differentiation,no adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery, the maximum tumor diameter>3 cm,presence of lymph node metastasis before surgery,CYFRA21-1>4.608 ng/mL,NSE>19.511 ng/mL,and SCC>1.776 ng/mL were risk factors for recurrence of lung cancer after radical surgery(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Serum CYFRA21-1,NSE and SCC are closely related to the prognosis of patients after radical surgery for lung cancer, and the com-bined detection of these three indexes is helpful to improve the sensitivity of recurrence prediction in patients.
