Abstract:Objective To investigate the impact of Montelukast combined with Tiotropium Bromide on efficacy,frac-tional exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO)and serum25-hydroxyvitamin D3[25(OH)D3]in patients with bronchial asthma in re-mission stage. Methods A total of 94 patients with bronchial asthma in remission stage who received treatment from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as research subjects, and were assigned to research group(n=47)and control group(n=47)by random number table method. Both groups were treated with Budesonide aerosol inhalation, and the control group was given oral Montelukast on this basis, while the research group received oral Montelukast combined with Tiotropium Bromide aerosol inhalation. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The clinical efficacy, and pulmonary function indexes[forced ex-piratory volume in the first second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and peak expiratory flow(PEF)],cellular immune function indexes,FeNO,serum25(OH)D3,IgE,mast cell carboxypeptidase(MC-CP)and sphingosine1-phosphate(S1P)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.During treatment, the adverse reactions were calculated in both groups. Results After treatment, the clinical efficacy in the research group was significantly higher than that in the con-trol group(P<0.05).The FEV1,FVC,PEF,serum 25(OH)D3,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were increased in both groups after treatment, and the above indexes in the research group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the FeNO,CD8+and serum IgE,MC-CP,S1P in both groups were decreased, and the decreases in the research group were more significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).During treatment,no significant differ-ences were observed in the adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Montelukast combined with Tiotropium Bromide has a significant effect in the treatment of patients with bronchial asthma in remission stage. It can im-prove pulmonary function, relieve airway inflammation and enhance immune function, and it has good safety. Its mechanism may be related to the regulation of 25(OH)D3 level.
