Effects of IVIG Combined with Atomized Interferon on Therapeutic Effect,Rehabilitation Process,Immunoinflammatory Indexes and Myocardial En-zymes in Children with Hand,Foot and Mouth Disease

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of intravenous human immunoglobulin(IVIG)combined with aerosol inhalation of interferon on therapeutic effect,rehabilitation process,immunoinflammatory indexes and myocardial enzymes in children with severe hand,foot and mouth disease.Methods 136 children with severe hand,foot and mouth disease treated from January 2022 to July 2024 were selected and divided into observation group and control group with 68 cases in each group by random number table method.Both groups were given basic treatment,on the basis of which the control group was given at-omized inhaled interferon therapy,and the observation group was given IVIG combined with atomized inhaled interferon thera-py for 3 days.The therapeutic effect and recovery process indexes(herpes,fever,oral ulcer resolution time and hospital stay),and immune indexes[CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin E(IgE),immu-noglobulin G(IgG)]before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Inflammatory indexes[interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-10(IL-10),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)]before and after treatment,myo-cardial enzyme[myocardial creatine kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)]before and after treatment,and adverse reactions during treatment.Results The total effective rate of observation group was 94.12％(64/68),which was higher than that of control group[80.88％(55/68)],suggesting significant differences(P＜0.05).The regression time of fever,herpes and oral ulcer and the length of hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(P＜0.01).After 3 days of treatment,CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,IgA,IgE and IgG were increased in 2 groups,and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).After 3 days of treatment,IL-2,IL-6,IL-10,TNF-α,CK-MB and LDH in 2 groups were decreased,and the observation group was lower than the con-trol group(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion IVIG combined with aerosol inhalation of interferon can improve the efficacy of severe HFMD children,accelerate the rehabilitation process,inhibit inflammation,enhance immune function,reduce myocardial damage,and have high safety.
