Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship of serum levels of butyrylcholinesterase(BuChE),homocys-teine(Hcy),growth differentiation factor 15(GDF15),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)with cardiac function and prognosis in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods In total,144 AMI patients treated with percuta-neous coronary intervention(PCI)from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected and divided into the good prognosis group(n=113)and the poor prognosis group(n=31)according to the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)at 6 months after surgery. The preoperative serum levels of BuChE,Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP were compared in pa-tients with different cardiac functions classified by New York Heart Association(NYHA).Pearson correlation was used to an-alyze the relationship between serum index levels and NYHA grade, and the levels of preoperative serum indexes in patients with different prognoses were compared.Multivariate logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were used to analyze the risk factors affecting the prognosis of AMI patients and the predictive value for poor prognosis. Results Compared with the good prognosis group, the serum BuChE level was decreased, while the serum Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP levels in the poor prognosis group were increased before operation(P<0.01).Compared with patients with NYHA cardiac function grade Ⅱ and Ⅲ,the serum BuChE level was decreased, while serum Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP levels in pa-tients with NYHA cardiac function gradeⅣwere increased before operation(P<0.05).Serum BuChE was negatively corre-lated with NYHA grade in AMI patients, while serum Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP levels were positively correlated with NYHA grade(P<0.05).Age and preoperative levels of BuChE,Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP were the prognostic factors of AMI pa-tients(P<0.05).Preoperative combined detection of serum BuChE,Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP levels predicted poor progno-sis in AMI patients with an area under the curve of 0.907 and sensitivity of 86.27%.Conclusion Serum BuChE,Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP levels in AMI patients are related to cardiac function, and the combined detection of serum BuChE,Hcy,GDF15 and hs-CRP before operation has a higher predictive value for the prognosis of AMI patients.
