Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of serum clusterin and sphingosine1-phosphate(S1P)lev-els in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods Clinical data of 306 patients with T2DM admitted from December 2020 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.Of them,179 patients with NAFLD were assigned as research group and 127 patients with T2DM alone were assigned as control group.Serum clus-terin and S1P levels were detected. The diagnostic value of both indicators for NAFLD in T2DM patients was evaluated by re-ceiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing fac-tors of T2DM patients with NAFLD.Results The serum clusterin level of the research group was higher than that of the con-trol group, while the serum S1P was lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of serum tuftin and S1P in the diagnosis of T2DM with NAFLD was 0.749 and 0.854,respectively,and the AUC of the com-bined diagnosis was 0.904.Serum fascin, serum S1P and body mass index were the influential factors of NAFLD in T2DM pa-tients(P<0.01).Conclusion The levels of serum clusterin and S1P are closely related to NAFLD in T2DM patients, and can be used as potential biological indicators of NAFLD in T2DM patients.
