Abstract：Sodium-glucose co-transporter protein 2 inhibitor(SGLT2i)is a drug for the treatment of diabetes melli-tus.Recent clinical studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of this class of drugs in the treatment of heart failure with re-spect to reducing the risk of cardiovascular events,hospitalization for heart failure and death.This article focuses on recent ad-vances in SGLT2i in the treatment of heart failure and its mechanism of action.
