Research Progress on Microsatellite Instability in Tumors of the Urinary System and Gynecological System

Abstract：With the discovery of microsatellite instability(MSI)/mismatch repair defect(dMMR)in an increasing number of tumors,and the use of a special class of immunotherapy drugs for patients with MSI-positive tumors:anti-programmed death receptor 1 or programmed death receptor ligand 1 immune checkpoint inhibitors,MSI has become a very im-portant indicator for predicting tumor prognosis and guiding immunotherapy.This article mainly reviews the pathogenesis,de-tection methods and research progress of MSI in common tumors of urinary system and gynecology,so as to provide reference for further research on MSI.
