Abstract:Objective To analyze the impact of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)fumigation and pain interven-tion combined with path-based rehabilitation measures on visual analogue scale(VAS)scores and rehabilitation effect of mini-mally invasive treatment for patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods In total,126 patients with LDH who un-derwent endoscopic resection of spinal nucleus from June 2022 to September 2023 were selected and randomly divided into control group(n=63)and observation group(n=63).Based on routine intervention, the control group received TCM fumi-gation and pain intervention, and the observation group received TCM fumigation and pain intervention combined with path-based rehabilitation measures. The VAS score of low back pain, lumbar function,36-item Short-Form(SF-36)score,and in-cidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention,VAS score of low back pain and Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)score of lumbar function in observation group were lower than those in control group, while Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score and SF-36 score of different dimensions were higher than those in control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was significantly lower than that in con-trol group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of TCM fumigation and pain intervention combined with path-based re-habilitation in minimally invasive treatment of patients with LDH is feasible, which can effectively reduce the symptoms of low back pain, and improve the function of lumbar spine and quality of life.
