Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effects of Duloxetine combined with Lamotrigine in the treatment of depression. Methods Ninety-five patients with depression admitted from January 2022 to January 2023 were divided into control group(n=47)and research group(n=48)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with Duloxetine, and the research group was treated with Duloxetine combined with Lamotrigine for 3 months. The therapeutic effects, monoamine neurotransmitters[dopamine(DA),norepinephrine,5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)],endocrine hor-mones[adrenocorticotrophic hormone, cortisol(CS),adrenocorticotropin releasing hormone(CRH)],depressive symptoms[Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score],cognitive function[Montreal Cogni-tive Assessment Scale(MoCA)]score and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total clin-ical effective rate of the research group was 91.67%(44/48),which was higher than that of the control group[74.47%(35/47)](P<0.05).At 1 and 3 months after treatment, compared with the control group, the levels of serum 5-HT and CRH in the research group were increased, while the levels of serum DA and CS were decreased(P<0.05).At 1 and 3 months after treatment, the scores of SDS and HAMD in the research group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of MoCA were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Duloxetine combined with Lamotrigi-ne in the treatment of depression can significantly enhance the clinical effect, and has a certain safety.
