Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of interleukin-27(IL-27),soluble tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand(sTRAIL)and Bath ankylosing spondylitis disease activity index(BAsDAI)in patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS).Methods In total,92 patients with AS admitted from June 2020 to September 2022 were selected as the observation group, and 45 healthy subjects who underwent physical examination during the same pe-riod were selected as the control group.Serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels were compared between the observation group and the control group.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the risk factors affecting disease activity in AS pa-tients,and Pearson linear correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels and BAsDAI.Results Serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.01).Serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels were risk factors for disease activity in AS patients(P<0.05).Serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels in AS patients were significantly positively correlated with BAsDAI(r =0.615,0.623,P<0.001).Conclusion Ser-um IL-27 and sTRAIL levels are risk factors affecting disease activity in AS patients, and are positively correlated with BAsDAI.Detection of serum IL-27 and sTRAIL levels has certain clinical value for evaluating BAsDAI.
