Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effects of Nimodipine combined with Alprostadil in the treatment of traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) . Methods A total of 98 patients with traumatic SAH who were treated in our hospital were enrolled in this study, and divided into control group ( n =49 ) and observation group (n=49), according to the time of admission. The control group was given routine treatment and Alprostadil by intravenous drip, and the observation group was given Nimodipine on the basis of the control group. The Glasgow Co-ma Score (GCS) and mean blood flow velocity of middle cerebral artery (MCA) before and after treatment were re-corded. The time of headache relief and cerebrospinal fluid recovery was compared, and the incidence rate of compli-cations was observed. Results The total effective rate of the observation group and the control group was 93. 88%and 77. 55% respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the GCS scores of the two groups were significantly increased after treatment, whereas the mean blood flow velocity of MCA was remarkably decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the GCS score of the observation group was significantly increased, whereas the mean blood flow velocity of MCA was notably decreased, showing significant differences (P<0. 05). The time of headache relief and recovery of cerebrospinal fluid to normal and the incidence of complications in the observation group were signifi-cantly less than those in the control group, and significant differences were found(P<0.05). Conclusion Nimo-dipine combined with Alprostadil is effective in the treatment of traumatic SAH with strong security.
