Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of different doses of Rosuvastatin on serum lipids, serum inflammatory factors and cardiac function after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for treating acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods A total of 100 patients with ACS who underwent PCI in our hospital from February 2015 to August 2017 were divided into standard-treatment group (n =50) and intensive-treatment group (n =50)based on table of random digits.Rosuvastatin was given orally at 7 d before operation in both groups. On this basis, oral administration of Rosuvastatin 10 mg/d in the standard group and Rosuvastatin 20 mg/d in the intensive group were continued for 30 d after operation.Blood lipid, inflammatory factors and cardiac function were compared in the two groups. Results Compared with those before operation, the levels of total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD),and the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α),hs-CRP and interleukin-6 (IL-6) at 30 d after operation were significantly decreased (P < 0.05),whereas the levels of HDL-C and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were increased remarkably (P < 0.05).Compared with the standard group, the levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,LVESD and LVEDD at 30 d after operation and the levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and IL-6 at 7 d after operation were decreased, whereas the levels of HDL-C and LVEF at 30 d after operation in the intensive-treatment group were increased significantly (P <0.05).Conclusion Rosuvastatin can improve the level of blood lipids, inhibit the inflammatory reaction and protect the heart function of ACS patients after PCI,producing more pronounced effect after intensive treatment.
