Abstract:Objective To investigate effects of Carboprost Tromethamine combined with modified B-Lynch sutura on prognosis and life quality in treatment of patients with refractory uterine inertia postpartum hemorrhage. Methods A total of 76 patients with uterine inertia postpartum hemorrhage, who underwent operations after hardly controlling hemorrhage by medi-cation,were divided into observation group (n=38) and control group (n=38) according to controlling hemorrhage meth-ods. All patients were treated with Carboprost Tromethamine, and then observation group was treated with modified B-Lynch sutura, while control group was treated with uterine artery ligation when hemorrhage had been hardly controlled. Clinical effi-cacy,intraoperative and postoperative indexes, postoperative conditions of complications and conditions of life quality before delivery and discharging were observed and compared in two groups. Results Compared with those in control group, in ob-servation group, markedly efficient and total effective rates were significantly higher, while inefficiency rate was significantly lower;operative and hospitalization times were significantly shorter, and bleeding volumes during operation and at 2h and 24h after operation were less, and incidence rates of puerperal infection, abdominal pain, intestinal obstruction, hysterectomy and the overall incidence rate of complications were significantly lower (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in body function, emotion function, role function, social function, cognitive function and general health status scores before delivery in two groups(P> 0.05). Before discharging, scores of body function, emotional function, role function, social function,cog-nitive function and general health status were significantly higher than those before delivery in two groups(P<0.05);scores of body function, emotional function, role function, social function and general health status in observation group were signifi-cantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Carboprost Tromethamine combined with modified B-Lynch sutura in treatment of patients with uterine inertia postpartum hemorrhage may achieve good effect, short operation and hospitalization times, and low incidence rate of postoperative complications with well postpartum life quality.
