Clinical Effect of Lauromacrogol Local Injection in Treatment of Infantile Hemangioma

Abstract:Objective To investigate clinical effect of Lauromacrogol local injection in treatment of infantile hemangio-ma. Methods Lauromacrogol foam sclerosing agent was injected into hemangioma in vivo in 60 infants with infantile hemangio-ma,and clinical effects were observed after 12 months of treatment. Results Among the 60 infants,regional flow signal of he-mangioma was disappeared in 13 infants after one time of injection,and regional flow signal of hemangioma was disappeared in 28 infants after two times of injection,and regional flow signal of hemangioma was disappeared in 19 infants after three times of injections. The 60 infants were followed up for 12 months,and there were 52 infants with grade IV,7 with grade III and 1 with grade II and 0 with grade I in 12 months after treatment,and the effective rate was 100%,and the cure rate was 86.7%. Local swelling was found in 5 infants after injection,and local skin blackening and necrosis were found in 2 infants at 3 d after injec-tion,and 1 infant had coughing during the injection,and the symptoms were all relieved after corresponding treatments. Conclu-sion Lauromacrogol local injection in treatment of infantile hemangioma can achieve good effect and less adverse reaction.
