Diagnosed Identification and Intervention for Panic Disorder in General Hospitals

Abstract:Objective To investigate diagnosed identification for panic disorder in general hospitals and the effect and safety of drug intervention combined with psychotherapy.Methods A total of 84 patients with panic disorder admitted during June 2012 and December 2015 were divided into observation group (n=42) and control group (n=42) according to random digits table method.All patients were treated with Bupropion Sustained-release Tablets, and observation group received psychological treatment on the basis of treatment.Two groups were treated for 8 weeks.Panic disorder associated symptoms scale (PASS) score, Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) score and Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) score were detected before and in 1st, 2nd, 4th and 8th weeks after treatment to evaluate the therapeutic effects.Treatment emergent symptom scale (TESS) was used to evaluate adverse drug reactions.Results PASS, HAMD and HAMA scores were significantly decreased in 1st, 2nd, 4th and 8th weeks after treatment compared with those before treatment in two groups (P<0.05).Compared with those in control group, in observation group, PASS, HAMD and HAMA scores were significantly decreased in 4th and 8th weeks after treatment (P<0.05).T effective rates were 87.5% in observation group and 80.0% in control group, and the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in TESS score, result of routine blood test, electrocardiogram, liver function and patients number of renal function abnormal between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Diagnosed identification rate of panic disorder in general hospitals is low, and Bupropion Sustained-release Tablets combined with psychotherapy can achieve good effect and safety.
