Clinical Observation on Alprostadil Combined with Hyperbaric Oxygen in Treatment of Sudden Deafness

Abstract：Objective To observe clinical effects of Alprostadil combined with hyperbaric oxygen in treatment of sudden deafness.Methods A total of 142 patients with sudden deafness admitted during September 2014 and September 2016 were divided into observation group and control group (n=71 for each group) by sortition method.All patients were treated with Mecobalamin, Extract of Ginkgo Biloba Leaves Injection and hyperbaric oxygen.On the basis treatment, observation group was treated with Alprostadil, while control group was treated with Dexamethasone.Clinical efficacy, results of sound heating threshold test and hemorrheologic changes were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with those before treatment, in the same group after treatment, the 0.5 kHz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz and 4 kHz of air conduction hearing threshold values, whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen levels were decreased in two groups (P<0.05);compared with those in control group, the decreased degrees in above indexes were more obvious in observation group (P<0.05).The total effective rate in observation group (90.1％) was significantly higher than 77.5％ in control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Alprostadil combined with hyperbaric oxygen may decrease blood viscosity, promote local blood circulation, relieve microcirculation disturbance of inner ear and improve hearing level of patients with sudden deafness.
