Abstract:Objective To investigate expressions and clinical significances of serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage. Methods A total of 108 patients with acute hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage admitted during May 2013 and May 2016 were selected as observation group, and other 108 healthy people taking medical examinations at the same period were selected as control group.Serum TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels were compared between the time of admission in observation group and the time of taking medical examinations in control group.Serum TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels were compared between the time of admission and 12 h, 24 h, 48 h and 7 d after admission in observation group. Results TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels at the time of admission in observation group were significantly higher than those at the time of taking medical examinations in control group (P<0.05).The differences in serum TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels at different time points in observation group were statistically significant (P<0.05).In observation group, TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels were gradually increased within 48 h after admission, and peak values were found at 48 h after admission;the levels were significantly decreased at 7 d after admission;the differences in the same index between each two different time points were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Serum TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels can be found significantly increased in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, and the increased levels are more significant in acute stage.Serum TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF levels can be used as indicator for early diagnosis of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.
