Abstract:Objective To investigate effect of wrist arthroscopy-assisted reduction and different fixation in Treatment of intra-articular fractures of distal radius. Methods The 55 patients underwent restoration of wrist arthroscopic and com-bined internal fixation with locking compression plate or dynamic bidirectional annulated screw and external fixation with fix-ator. We followed up the patients, and observed postoperative complication and wrist joints function. Results This group in-cluded 25 cases undergoing open reduction and internal fixation with locking compression plate, 15 cases undergoing close re-duction and internal fixation with dynamic bidirectional annulated screw and 15 cases with external fixator. The healing time was 8 weeks on average. The functions of all joints were good without nonunion, refractor, pain, instability and traumatic ar-thritis. All the cases were followed up. Excellent result was obtained in 39 patients, good in 11 patients and fair in 5 patients according to the modified McBride evaluation criteria 1 year after surgery. The excellent and good rate was 90. 9%. Conclu-sion Arthroscopy assisted and combined with different fixations is a minimally invasive and effective treatment method, and can achieve satisfactory clinical effect in treatment of intra-articular distal radius fractures.
