Abstract:Objective To observe clinical effect of Kanglaite injection combined with CAF chemotherapy in the treat-ment of breast cancer patients. Methods Clinical data of 120 breast cancer patients during January 2013 and January 2015 in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups;CAF chemotherapy control group, and the treatment group on the basis of intravenous KLT 200 ml/d, 14 d/cycle. Both groups had six cycles of chemotherapy and were assessed for the clinical effects, physical condition, quality of life, tumor marker levels, toxicity and adverse reactions of chemotherapy. Results Physical condition of treatment group, related indexes of the quality of life assessment were significantly better than that of the control group (P<0. 05). Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and Serum glycoprotein antigen 153 (CA153) of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower (P<0. 01), and the extent of the treatment group was superior to that control group (P<0. 01);after treatment, bone marrow suppression, hemoglobin, white blood cell and platelet counts of both the groups decreased compared with that before treatment (P<0. 01), but a reduction in the treatment group rather than in the control group (P<0. 01). After treatment, symptom score decreased significantly, while in the control group the score was higher, compared with that before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 01). Conclusion Kanglaite in-jection combined with CAF chemotherapy can improve the clinical symptoms caused by chemotherapy, and improve quality of life, reduce cardiac toxicity, inhibit disease progression with reliable clinical efficacy.
