Adrenal Mature Teratoma:2 Case Reports and Review of Literature

Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical manifestations ,diagnosis and treatment of adrenal mature teratoma. Methods Clinical data of 2 cases of adrenal mature teratoma, and related literature analysis were studied. Results Two pa-tients were adult females and B ultrasound examination showed adrenal tumor,CT scanning showed suspected adrenal myeloli-poma,postoperative pathological diagnosis confirmed adrenal mature teratoma. The two patients were respectively followed up for 8 months and 5 months with no recurrence. Conclusion The adrenal mature teratoma is a rare germ cell tumor. Clinical symptoms and signs are not typical. Imaging examination is important for diagnosis. Postoperative pathological examination can confirm the diagnosis, surgical excision is the preferred method of treatment, and the prognosis of the adrenal mature teratoma is usually satisfactory.
