Effects of Ginkgo Biloba Extract on Immune Function in Patients with Sudden Hearing Loss and Observation of Clinical Efficacy

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of ginkgo biloba extract in the treatment of patients with sudden hear-ing loss and its influence on immune function. Methods A total of 124 cases of sudden hearing loss in our hospital were se-lected and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 62 cases in each group. The patients in the two the groups were given basic treatment. The patients in observation group were additionally given ginkgo biloba extract. The curative efficacy and immune function indicators were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treat-ment. Results After treatment, CD3, CD4, IgG, IgM levels of serum T cell subsets of patients in the two groups were higher than that before (P<0. 05), and these indicators in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0. 05). The total efficacy rate and efficacy rate of the observation group were obviously higher than that of the con-trol group after treatment;the inefficiency rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that of control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0. 05). Conclusion The ginkgo biloba extract has reliable and stable curative effect on sudden hearing loss and can improve the immune function of patients of sudden hearting loss.
