Clinical Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Anzi Mixture in Treatment of Threatened Abortion

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of traditional Chinese medicine Anzi mixture in treatment of threatened a-bortion. Methods A total of 105 patients with threatened abortion were randomly divided into two groups: fifty-two patients in traditional Chinese medicine group received Anzi mixture treatment, and fifty-three patients in control group received intra-muscular progesterone treatment (20 mg/d). After 10 days, therapy effect in the two groups was compared. Results The symptom scores ( vaginal hemorrhage, low back soreness and distending pain, lower abdomen pain and pendent swells, fre-quent nocturnal enuresis) in the two groups after treatment were all lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 01). The symptom scores after treatment in traditional Chinese medicine group were all lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05); The clinical effect in the two groups showed significant difference (Z= -2. 200, P=0. 028);No adverse reaction occurred in the two groups. Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine Anzi mixture in treatment of threatened abortion is effective, and has less adverse reaction.
