Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of 308 nm high-energy excimer laser combined with autogenous epidermal cells transplantation in treatment of facial vitiligo during stable phase. Methods A total of 90 patients with facial vit-iligo during stable phase were randomly divided into group A, B and C. Group A received 308 nm high-energy excimer laser combined with autogenous epidermal cells transplantation, and group B and C were treated with 308 nm high-energy excimer la-ser and autogenous epidermal cells transplantation respectively. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions in the three groups were observed 3 months after treatment. Results The total effective rate in group A (96. 7% ) was higher than 76. 7% in group B and 86. 7% in group C, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 = 3. 81, P < 0. 01; χ2 = 5. 49, P < 0. 05); the total effective rate in group C was significantly higher than that in group B (χ2 =4. 20, P <0. 05). Adverse reactions were mild in the three groups and relieved spontaneously. Conclusion The 308 nm high-energy excimer laser combined with autogenous epidermal cells transplantation in treatment of facial vitiligo during stable phase is effective and quick with less adverse reactions.
