Abstract:Biomass-derived carbon has become a research hotspot due to its environmental friendliness, low cost, and good electrical conductivity. This study utilized discarded vaporizing mats as the primary raw material to prepare FexOy/C composite microwave absorbing materials through high-temperature calcina-tion and the introduction of a magnetic component(FexOy).The research found that after loading the FexOy component, the microwave absorption performance of the material was significantly enhanced.A-mong the samples,FVM-0.6-600 achieved a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of-19.2 dB with a coating thickness of 1.5 mm,and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 5.3 GHz;FVM-0.6-800 achieved a RLmin of-25.6 dB with a coating thickness of 2 mm,and an EAB of 4.5 GHz;This study demonstrates a high-value and resourceful approach to utilizing discarded vaporizing mats, showing broad application prospects.
