Abstract:In recent years,as a digital manufacturing technology, additive manufacturing(AM)technolo-gy has attracted much attention in equipment manufacturing fields due to its characteristics of high pro-cessing accuracy and short manufacturing cycle.Titanium alloys have gradually become one of the impor-tant materials for the application of AM technology due to their high strength, low density and good corro-sion resistance.Due to its unique geometric characteristics,three-period minimum surface(TPMS)struc-ture can take into account both the lightweight design of materials and the improvement of mechanical properties. The AM of titanium alloys is expected to further enhance the comprehensive performance of components based on the TPMS structural design. This review aims to explore the latest research progress of titanium alloy AM technology based on TPMS structural design. The unique geometric characteristics of TPMS structure are elaborated emphatically and the manufacturing processes and parameter optimiza-tion methods mainly are introduced based on laser selective melting. The performance characteristics were analyzed from the aspects of mechanics, physics, corrosion resistance, thermal management and so on.The application achievements in fields such as aerospace, biomedicine and automotive manufacturing were briefly described, which would provide a reference for the in-depth research and application scope expan-sion of high-performance titanium alloy materials.
