Abstract:Currently,in the context of emphasizing green, clean and sustainable development,nano-oxide-based photocatalytic technology is a kind of energy-saving,efficient and environmentally friendly technolo-gy that was discovered and gradually developed in the 1970s for the degradation of pollutants through light.Among various photocatalytic materials, nano titanium dioxide(TiO2)has received widespread at-tention for its unique physical and chemical properties and thus become a popular material for international research. This paper reviews the mechanism of photocatalytic degradation of wastewater by nano-TiO2,and analyzes the methods of regulating morphology, conducting ion doping and performing surface modifi-cation,which can improve the light sensitivity of nano-materials,as well as their application prospects in industrial wastewater and drug treatment. Finally,it summarizes and looks forward to the research and application of TiO2 photocatalytic materials, pointing out that TiO2 nano photocatalytic materials need to be further explored and studied in aspects such as the establishment of reaction kinetics models,commer-cial production of photocatalysts, and the combination of various modification methods.
