Abstract:In order to reveal the gene function and mechanism of Allene Oxide Synthase(AOS),bioinfor-matics methods were used to identify AOS family members at the maize genome level, and the expression level AOS genes were analyzed by real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction under abi-otic stress. Finally, seven maize AOS(named ZmAOS)genes were identified at the genome-wide level and distributed on four chromosomes.Furthermore, the seven ZmAOS genes were divided into four sub-groups of evolutionary branches, and the gene structure and protein sequences were relatively conserved within each group, but there were large differences between groups, suggesting that there may be func-tional differences.Besides, the analysis of cis-acting elements and stress expression patterns showed that ZmAOS genes may be involved in maize growth, development and stress response. And the interaction protein prediction that ZmAOS may interact with LOX,AOC,HPL,OPR and so on,and then participate in the jasmonic acid pathway to regulate plant growth and development, and respond to abiotic stress.
