Research progress of bio-composite coatings on medical titanium alloy prepared by micro-arc oxidation

Abstract：Titanium alloys are widely used in biomedical fields.Corrosion resistance and biocompatibility are important research topics of titanium alloys.The research status of medical titanium alloy prepared by micro-arc oxidation was reviewed.The effects of electrical parameters,electrolyte and additives on the surface structure and biological properties of titanium alloy were summarized.The problems in the prepa-ration of medical materials by micro-arc oxidation technology were pointed out,and the application and de-velopment of micro-arc oxidation technology in the field of biomedicine were prospected.It was pointed out that the stable utilization of electrolyte and the effect mechanism of additives on biological safety need to be solved.
