Abstract:Porous pTMPTA microspheres were prepared by photopolymerization using trimethylol propane triacrylate(TMPTA)as the photosensitive monomer, which was loaded with corrosion inhibitor(benzo-triazole,BTA)(BTA@pTMPTA)and mixed with resin to prepare anti-corrosion coatings. The effect of pore structure on the loading and releasing behavior of BTA was investigated. The results showed that the loading ratio of BTA increased with the increase of the specific surface area and pore size of pTMPTA mi-crospheres,and the maximum loading mass ratio could reach 20%.And the release rate of BTA acceler-ated with the increasing pore size of the porous microsphere. The corrosion resistance of the composite coating was studied, and the results showed that the porous microspheres loaded with BTA effectively avoided the deterioration of the corrosion protection ability of the coating caused by the direct addition of BTA,and the larger porous microspheres were more advantageous to enhancing the corrosion resistance of the composite coating. When the addition mass ratio of BTA@pTMPTA was 5.0%,the composite coat-ing exhibited the highest low-frequency impedance(|Z|f=0.1Hz).After soaking in NaCl solution for 50 days,its|Z|f-0.1Hz(1.70 × 108 Ω)is one order of magnitude higher than that of pure resin coating(8.71×106 Ω).The results of the salt spray test showed that the corrosion diffusion of the composite coating was significantly inhibited, indicating the active anti-corrosion effect of BTA released in the coating.
