Abstract:The synergistic reaction of photocatalysis technology and Fenton reaction is a valid strategy for the treatment of pernicious antibiotic sewage.Herein, the NiFe2O4 photocatalyst(NFO)with the function of magnetic recovery was prepared by the hydrothermal/calcination method, and further modified by load-ing carbon dots(CDs)on its surface to synthetize CDs/NFO compound, which exhibits the tetracycline(TC)photodegradation rate of 84.6%and 34.7%under visible(Vis)and near-infrared light(NIR)light irradiation, respectively. The high Vis/NIR-driven photo-Fenton catalytic degradation activity of TC over CDs/NFO photocatalysts is not only ascribed to the decomposition and regeneration process of H2O2 with cycles of Fe2+/Fe3+of NFO to generate active species, but also attributed to strong light scattering and e-lectron trapping effects of CDs.This research presents a reasonable design idea to construct a magnetic re-cyclable photo-Fenton degradation system with high-efficient activity for treatment of antibiotic wastewater.
