Research on Investigation and Factors on Health Information Literacy of Residents in Bengbu

Abstract：Object To understand health information literacy status and its influencing factors of resi‐dents in Bengbu in 2015 .Methods There are 1106 residents in three rural and three urban communities in bengbu was selected with three‐stage sampling .The Self‐rating questionnaire of HIL (SRQ‐HIL) was applied in present survey .Results After percentage normalization ,the average score of HIL was 55 .61 . Age (β= -0 .13) ,education (β=0 .26) ,job (β=0 .15) and annual income were the influence factors of HIL .Conclusions The health information literacy level of residents among aged 45‐60 in Bengbu remains to be promoted . Some corresponding health information strategies and high quality health services should be provided to improve residents’ health information literacy level .
