A Research on the Inner Mechanism of Which Community Cultural Identification Responses the Tourism Development Based on the ESI Model---A Case Study of the Dongchang Ancient City in Liaocheng

Abstract:Based on the ESI model , this research constructs the inner mechanism framework of w hich community cultural identification responses the tourism development through interview s ,ques‐tionnaire survey and empirical research of the field . Research show s that under the background of tourism development ,the change of history ,custom and environment in the community can result in the change of local residents’ community emotion and cultural values .Consequently ,it will also affect the local residents’ identification with community culture .It is speculated therefore ,tourism developers , government and community should pay attention to the vital function of the new culture w hich forms in the change of community culture identification and in the interaction of the foreign culture and native cul‐ture .An important cutting‐point to the development of local tourism strategy‐related industries should be the accommodation between community cultural identification and tourism activities ,so that we can develop the cultural identification of the recreated community ,promote the innovation in succession of local culture ,and implement the benign interaction between sustainable development of the tourism in‐dustry and effective heritage of the local culture .
